The Daniels Sales Centre is currently available for booking events on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:45pm to 8:45pm. Fridays are available for booking 9am to 8:45pm. Mondays and Thursdays are unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your interest in Studio.89 as a location for your special event! You can find our event rental package on this page, which should answer most questions regarding our facility rentals. We require a $55 deposit to book your event. The deposit, less a $5 processing fee will be returned if all contract obligations are met. Once your event request is complete and submitted, our team will reach out to finalize the details of your event.

I understand that Studio.89 counts on cafe sales to meet monthly expenses related to managing this community hub and its programs. I will demonstrate my appreciation for this community space available to me by being respectful of the space, the staff, and by diligently following the Terms and Conditions for booking the space.(Required)
I understand that I am now about to read the Terms and Conditions pertaining to my $50 deposit that outline my obligations and responsibilities as they relate to the space.(Required)
I understand that not following or any oversight of these Terms and Conditions will result in me forfeiting my $50 deposit.(Required)
1. I will ask the youth at the front counter for the Introduction Sheet to read out loud to our attendees at the start of our event. I will be sure to return the sheet to the front counter after the event.(Required)
2. I will place the furniture back in its place and clean up properly after my event to avoid unnecessary cleaning fees. I will reference the photos emailed to me of the space or I will take my own photos beforehand and ensure the furniture is placed back where it belongs and the space is completely clean.(Required)
3. I will place my catering order at least 7 days in advance.(Required)
4. I will remember to ask attendees to clean-up after themselves and to let them know in advance that outside food is not permitted under any circumstances. I understand that I will lose my $50 deposit if attendees bring in outside food.(Required)
5. As I understand you are a community space and count on donations to run your youth programming, I will encourage our event attendees to give a suggested donation of $5 each.(Required)
6. I will ensure that all foods and drinks are paid in full at the time of purchase. I understand that event tabs are not allowed in our space.(Required)
7. I will ensure any payments in regards to our space booking or catering is made at the counter before I leave. This includes booking fees for private events, donations, catering and 20% of tickets or sales.(Required)
8. I will be mindful of others in the cafe space. If absolutely necessary, I will ask other patrons gently to shift tables by explaining our events needs. I will be mindful that this is a shared space. Also, I am aware that there may be unexpected sounds that occur within the café space during our event. As much as the staff will try to ensure that the café is not disruptive, they unfortunately cannot control all matters within the space.(Required)
9. I understand I will lose my deposit if I cancel less than 7 days prior to the event.(Required)
10. I will aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before our event start time so I am present before the attendees arrive.(Required)
11. The offices attached to the Daniels Sales Centre are not part of this booking and are not available to us or our event attendees. If I am interested in booking an office, I will email to inquire about booking fees.(Required)
12. It is my responsibility to communicate these rules to my fellow event organizers and the event attendees. If our event organizers and attendees do not follow these terms and conditions, we agree to forfeit our security deposit.(Required)
A $50 deposit per booking is required to book an event. The deposit will be returned to you (less a $5 processing fee) if all event contract obligations are met. You may choose 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 bookings from the drop-down menu below.
