Join us this Wednesday July 27th (5:30pm – 7pm) at the Creditvale Mills Community Wellness Hub (1555 S Parade Ct, Mississauga ON, L5M 0T8), as we celebrate our ‘Seniors & Youth Connect: Mosaic of Mississauga’ program; a 2-cohort, virtual program that bridged the social gap between senior and youth participants during the pandemic, as to jointly create a vibrant and diverse quilt and corresponding documentary film!
Community Benefit:
Over the course of 5-6 week cohorts, senior and youth participants gathered together virtually to learn about one another, engage in skill-building activities and, of course, work on the main program project: developing their very own quilt piece, which encapsulated their personalities and dual nationalities.
Join us as we reveal the quilt and documentary film for the first time with our program participants! In tying together each heartfelt life story, we’ve created a Mosaic of Mississauga: a reflection of the diversity, interconnectedness and optimism of a resilient community.
RSVPs now CLOSED – Documentary and Quilt Photos to be accessible online in early August
